2. WHO CAN USE OUR SERVICES

• Eligibility: By using this website, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who also agrees to be bound by these Terms to use our services.

• Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. ACADEMIC RULES 

If you enroll in a course, you agree to our Code of Conduct:

1. No Cheating: You will complete all quizzes and exams yourself without unauthorized assistance.

2. No Sharing: You will not share your login details with anyone else. One account = One student.

3. Respect: You will behave professionally in community forums and live classes. Hate speech or harassment will result in immediate suspension.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

• Our Content: All videos, text, logos, code, and course materials on this site are owned by CYSEC Academy.

• Your License: We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to view the course content for your own education.

• Prohibitions: You may not download (unless allowed), reproduce, resell, distribute, or "pirate" our content.

5. PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

• Pricing: Prices for courses are listed on the website and are subject to change.

• Refund Policy: To ensure customer satisfaction in compliance with consumer laws, we offer a 50% refund within 5 Days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 10% of the course. Tax fees will be deducted from the total amount paid initially.

• Non-Refundable: Live session fees, Training and Certification fees and Exam fees are non-refundable once the service has been delivered or scheduled.

6. CERTIFICATES & DISCLAIMERS

• Certificates: Certificates of Completion are issued upon passing the required assessments.

• No Job Guarantee: While our courses are designed to advance your career, The Academy does not guarantee employment, promotion, or admission to any university upon completion. We offer assistance in getting a role or achieving your goal.

• "As Is" Basis: The website and content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or error-free.

7. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

If you post comments, project assignments, or forum posts:

• You retain ownership of your work.

• You grant The Academy a license to display your work on the platform (e.g., showing your project in a student gallery).

• You must not post anything illegal, offensive, or infringing on others' rights.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CYSEC Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as loss of data or revenue) arising from your use of the site.

9. PRIVACY

Your use of the Academy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we handle your personal data in compliance with the GDPR and NDPA.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the site.

11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Regardless of where you are located in the world, you agree that Nigerian law applies to your use of the Academy.

• Dispute Resolution: If you have a concern, you agree to first contact us at info@cysecacademy.com to try to resolve the issue informally.

• Jurisdiction: If we cannot resolve the dispute within 60 days, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts (or binding arbitration) located in Nigeria.

  • Virtual Option: For international students, we may agree to conduct dispute proceedings online to avoid travel.
