This course introduces learners to the principles and practices of cyber threat intelligence (CTI) and vulnerability analysis, focusing on how intelligence about threat actors, tactics, techniques, and indicators is used to proactively reduce organizational risk. Learners will explore IOCs, IOAs, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and understand how vulnerability data and threat intelligence work together to inform defensive decisions.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
Explain core threat intelligence concepts and lifecycle stages
Identify different types of threat actors and their motivations
Differentiate between IOCs and IOAs and apply them effectively
Use the MITRE ATT&CK framework to analyze adversary behavior
Understand how threat intelligence supports vulnerability analysis and risk prioritization
